Data and purposes

We process the contact details and messages you provide to answer enquiries and help arrange your stay. For reservations we process guest details, travel dates, occupancy, requests, billing information and payment status to manage the booking, payments and guest services. Mandatory fields are needed to process the relevant request. Guest-registration details are collected through the check-in process where legally required. Technical connection data, such as IP address and browser information, may be processed to operate and protect the service.

Legal bases

Enquiries about a stay and reservations are processed to take steps at your request before entering into a contract and to perform it. Billing, tax and legally required guest-registration processing is based on legal obligations. Service security and handling other enquiries rely on our legitimate interests, subject to your rights. Optional promotional messages and non-essential cookies rely on consent where required. Merely visiting the website does not constitute consent to advertising. You can withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing.

Service providers and recipients

Services used in operating TravoHomes include Hostaway for reservations, Duda for the website, Stripe for payments, Chekin for guest registration, and IONOS for hosting and email. The web assistant uses AI services, including OpenAI when its AI connection is active. Data relevant to each service may be processed by these providers. Payment details should be entered only in the secure payment flow. Data may also be disclosed to public authorities where legally required and to professionals assisting with accounting or claims when necessary. Booking through Airbnb or Booking.com also involves those platforms and their own privacy notices.

International processing

Some technology providers or their sub-processors operate outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Applicable safeguards depend on the provider and service, such as an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses. You can request information about the recipients and safeguards applicable to your data at info@travohomes.com. Retention

Enquiry data is retained for the time necessary to handle the enquiry and related follow-up. Reservation, billing and registration data is retained for the applicable contractual and legal periods and, where necessary, for the establishment, exercise or defence of claims. Promotional contact data is used until consent is withdrawn or you object, subject to keeping the minimum information needed to respect that choice. Technical and assistant data is subject to the retention settings and obligations of the relevant service. You can ask us for the retention criteria applicable to your data.

Cookies and optional services

The website uses technologies needed for operation and reservation functions. Optional analytics, advertising or third-party content may require your consent. Use the cookie-preference controls shown on the website to review available categories and change your choice. You can also manage cookies in your browser. Refusing optional cookies may prevent optional embedded content, such as maps, from loading.

Web assistant and children

The assistant generates general information and may make mistakes. Confirm availability, prices, extras and booking conditions in the reservation flow or with our team. Do not enter identity documents, card details, medical information or access codes in the chat. The assistant does not itself confirm reservations or make decisions with legal effect. An adult should provide information about accompanying children only as needed for the stay and applicable registration requirements.

Your rights

Subject to the applicable conditions, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction and portability of your personal data, object to processing and withdraw consent by emailing info@travohomes.com or writing to the address above. Requests are generally free of charge. We may ask for proportionate information to verify your identity where necessary; do not send an identity-document copy unless requested and justified. You can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency at www.aepd.es.
